Night time blog entries

I've noticed recently that my blog entries are always made around 10pm-1am probably because I'm trying to find reasons not to do my homework haha. I've given up on school about 80% now I gotta say. I'm pretty disappointed with myself but I find it SO hard to do work now. But anyway I was really excited to wear the things I got from my friends and this is my outfit. :)

Amy helped me take these and I'm pretty happy my legs look especially long haha.

17th Birthday

I had an amazing birthday. I'm really happy all of the people I invited out to have dinner with me were able to make it. Also, I don't usually receive much gifts for my birthday just because I don't really hold parties but to be with all of my friends and stuff oh my gosh I was so happy I could have cried.

After a couple of meetings after school I met up with Kelsey who was killing time with Sungjin while waiting for Chris and we all went to Safeway for whatever reason and Chris got me jalapeno bread and a red velvet cupcake.  ヽ(；▽；)ノ

Spiffy first day

My birthday is tomorrow and I'm really excited to spend it with some of my friends C: I also started working at this amazinggg (not just saying that, they actually are/were considered THE best) shave ice place called Shimazu on Wednesday. Vivian's teaching me everything and as of right now things are pretty chill and easy going. I had no idea there were all these methods or whatever and I have to constantly keep how to do things properly in mind, like I only got the hang of pouring the syrup on my second day. ヽ（´ー｀）┌

Throw it over

Outfit of Monday. It was a really great day with a bunch of things collectively making me happy and I'm actually excited for my birthday coming up. I've also reached my limit on uploading photos via blogspot so I'll have to be using photobucket now. :P

Prime Pastel

Got my wisdom tooth taken out 2 weekends ago and during that weekend home alone I took a bunch of pictures of myself and only got around to editing today. I won't be going to school tomorrow since I have another dentist appointment and my dad is taking me and my brother to pay respects to our grandmother since it is April.

Longer than never

Finally got to wearing my velvet dress but didn't get a picture without the cardigan though because I totally forgot about it. Maybe some other time. C:

I got these sunglasses a while ago with Shelley from Forever 21 and I love them sooo much! :D I also made the peter pan collar myself.

So I took the cross off the suede cord and put the crystal pendant I made from forever ago. For some reason these pictures all came out rather bad.

I'd been looking everywhere for plain cross earrings or pendants, but couldn't find them anywhere then it struck me that the cross necklace I got on Ebay wasn't big enough for me as a necklace so I put some wire on it and wore it as an earring. :3

Thrift Haul

I'm insane amounts of broke but have been doing a lot of looking around at thrift stores and goddamn, I've been finding some pretty good stuff.

The following are from GoodWill. Like this black velvet dress which was originally calf-length and had this tacky rhinestone bow in the collar and rhinestone straps, but I cut a lot off the bottom and used some as straps. The top part of it is a bit like a corset which is pretty good in maintaining its shape. I'm excited to wear it but I measured the skirt length wrong and so its pretty short hahaha.

 I was so excited when I found this shirt. I was originally looking for graphic tees or something for my brother but I saw this and had to have it. It's from the Diesel Be Stupid campaign from last year, but I really love the message.

 The illustration on this shirt was exactly what I was looking for. I've also been trying to have more black in my wardrobe and tshirts especially. I cut the sleeves off myself.

I was in Kalihi for breakfast with Kelsey, Chris, and Deanna and we stopped by Savers when I saw this sweater among other things. I only had $12 that day and we were gonna see a movie later on so I wasn't planning to find much. But out of the things I grabbed I liked this the most and it was originally $8, but they were having a sale on yellow tags and I got it for $4!!! Which is amazing to me because they sell similar sweaters at Brandy Melville and Nordstrom for like $30-$50.

And some more pictures of me. Does my hair seem longer? Well it should because I'm wearing the extensions Cathy gave me~. They're natural black and my tips are originally brown so I had to dye my hair darker to match it. (⌒▽⌒)☆
