You got to come on up

I really love this dress. I don't have much things in patterns like this either, not to mention it was $7. When I found it, it was a large, but it had an amazing silhouette so I ended up sewing it to fit. It's much more classic and mature than the usual clothes I pick out, I think what appeals to me the most is the skater skirt of it. I got it in late December and been meaning to make an outfit post but I would never have my camera to take pictures. :C

You may have noticed I change up my blog layout. Finally figured out how to work text in Photoshop haha. That aside, I was really happy to find this cat shirt. Just look at all the sweet kittens! TOO PRECIOUS.

Take it in

Finally an outfit composed of pieces that aren't entirely thrifted or from Forever 21! I love my Deena & Ozzy shoes from Urban Outfitters but I always feel like death is right around the corner when I wear them as they're 6 inches high including the 2 inch platform. I gotta say, I kept teetering especially on the uneven pavement on my way to get these shot. I probably looked like an infant walking in her mommy's high heels, but practice makes perfect I guess. Blackout

Today was Blackout Day for Black and Gold week. I went to McDonald's with Hiroshi and on my way to the bathroom, one of the workers tell me "Oh! Nice costume." I wish my hair were this prominently purple in the daylight. :/ These were taken by Hiroshi.

Party like it's 1999

It's Black and Gold Week at my school which is a bit like Spirit Week, but we already had that. Anyway, so today was Kids Day where they wanted us to dress as kids, and so I brought back my clothes from when I was a kid along with the hair style I favored then.
